Event

On 2^nd February 2019, MAARDHANI, the Literary club, hosted TURNCOAT a traditional debate with a variation. The topic was given to participants, a few minutes in advance. At first, they were expected to go ‘for’ the topic and switch stances at a “tap”. This event of switching from ‘for’ to ‘against’ witnessed a huge participation. Many speaking enthusiasts had shown a very good response. Participants came up with different points that took audience by surprise. This event exhibited diversity in thoughts and brought out spontaneity. It reminded the necessity of thinking pros & cons of a topic.
