Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita), established in 2003 under section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956, is a multi-disciplinary Deemed to be University that offers more than 180 Academic Programs, through 10 Departments across 6 Campuses in three South Indian states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The renowned humanitarian leader, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, popularly known as Amma, is the Chancellor and guiding light of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Spread over 900 acres with eight million square feet built-up space, Amrita is one of India’s top-ranked private Institutions and has been selected for the prestigious award of Institution of Eminence (IoE) status by MHRD. Campus is located 4kms from Periyapalayam, 29kms from Redhills, 26km from Avadi and 50km from Chennai International Airport. It is situated away from the Periyapalayathamman Temple, on the State Highway SH50A, a village named Vengal, Thiruvallur district, Tamilnadu, India. Participants will be required to make their own travel arrangements.
