Amrita School of Arts & Sciences, Kochi campus, celebrated Kerala Piravi Day on November 1, 2018. The program was formally inaugurated by renowned Cartoonist Sri. Sajjiv Balakrishnan, Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax Department, Kochi. He conducted a lecture demonstration on Caricature Drawing. Smt. Lekha Sajjiv, his wife and Musician (Film, AIR and Doordarshan Artist) rendered a music concert encompassing classical and light songs. Br. Anaghamrita Chaitanya lighted the lamp and blessed the occasion. Prizes were given to the winners of the Malayalam Quiz. Dr. U Krishnakumar (Director, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi campus) welcomed the gathering and Sri. Chandran Perumudiyur delivered the Vote of Thanks. Chief Guest also inaugurated an exhibition ‘Keralam Annum Innum’at the Amrita Bhavana Art Gallery.
