A literary week under the banner of PRAYAANA, Amrita Literary Association, was organized from April 4-8, 2016. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. N. Gopalakrishnan from Amrita Civil Services Academy.

He delivered a talk on ‘Computer Aided Language Learning.’ The following competitions and events were conducted as part of the literary week:

1. Le Forte – Personality Contest,
2. To Bee or Not to Bee – Spelling Bee competition,
3. Debate It – Debate competition,
4. Turncoat,
5. Photography Exhibition and Competition, and
6. Voice It –Picture Interpretation.

Students from all the departments in the campus took part actively in the competitions and won prizes. The week came to an end with an invited talk by Dr. M. Muraleedharan on ‘The Context of Culture in Literary Ontology and Epistemology.’
