About

Amrita College of Nursing is gearing up for an insightful Research Day on February 24, 2024, at its Kochi Campus, centering around the theme of Collaborative Research. This event is strategically designed to encourage faculty and students to critically engage with nursing research while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to address complex healthcare challenges.



The observation of Research Day seeks to stimulate critical thinking and action among faculty and students in the realm of nursing research. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in intercollegiate poster presentations, quiz competitions, and game-based challenges, providing a platform to simplify complexities and generate interest.


The significance of interdisciplinary collaboration is that it broadens and refines the nurses’ perspectives in problem-solving approaches. The exchange of ideas among professionals from diverse fields will play a crucial role in reducing disciplinary silos, integrating interventions to address current challenges in healthcare.

  • Develop interest in the research knowledge through quiz, poster competitions and gamification.

Guidelines for e-poster presentation:

  • Last date for submission of abstract: on or before 20/02/2024.
  • Abstracts to be limited to 250 words in English.
  • Registration for research day is mandatory for poster presentation.
  • All posters will be presented as e-posters ONLY. Do NOT bring a printed copy of the poster.
  • Certificate will be issued for all registered author and co-authors only.
  • Entries could be as individual or group with maximum of three individuals. Only one entry per person.

Guidelines for Quiz competition:

  • There is no limitation in number of teams for participation in Quiz from the institutions, but each team has to register for quiz competition separately. The registration is free.
  • One team comprises of three members. Each member in the team has to register for research day separately.
  • Last date for registration for Quiz: on or before 22/02/2024.
  • If more than five teams registered, there will be a preliminary round Guidelines for Gamification competition:
  • Participation is on an individual basis: All conference attendees who have registered are eligible to participate in the same.
  • Last date for registration for gamification: on or before 24/02/2024.
