Bio

Dr Arupparna Sengupta is Currently Serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at School of Medicine, Faridabad.

She completed her MBBS from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical sciences, Gangtok. Thereafter she pursued her Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP) from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and DNB Pathology from the famed Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata.

The next three years she trained as a Senior Resident, at the renowned Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. There she was actively involved in diagnostics and DNB post graduate teaching, under the guidance of stalwarts in the field.

From her initial training days, Dr Arupparna developed a keen interest in the diagnostic challenges of oncopathology. Her quest to hone her skills in that field, took her next, to the coveted Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. There, under the mentorship of Dr Anurag Mehta, she successfully completed her Fellowship in Oncopathology.

She has vast experience in the entire histopathology spectrum and along with Oncopathology, she also takes a keen interest in Renal Pathology and Dermatopathology.

Discussions and diagnoses of the challenging spectrum of lymphomas is also a niche she has been successfully navigating.

She believes in leaving no stone unturned in the quest for the finding the correct diagnosis and her work reflects that commitment and enthusiasm.

Teaching and providing compassionate wholesome guidance to MBBS and MD students, forms a cornerstone of her work as a conscientious mentor.

Apart from being a thorough pathologist, Dr Arupparna is a sound academician and is involved in academic activities like conducting MBBS Quiz, journal club, debates and seminars and attended multiple national conferences.

She has authored various scientific papers and is actively involved in numerous conferences.
