Bio

Dr Sreelekshmi R serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Kayachikitsa. She completed her BAMS from Amrita School of Ayurveda and done Post graduation in Kayachikitsa from Government Ayurveda college, Thiruvanathapuram . She began her career as Research Fellow at Government Ayurveda College ,Thiruvananthapuram during the Period from 2017-2019 in a Project on Clinical depression sponsored by ministry of Ayush. After the completion of project joined as Specialist Medical officer(Manasikam) under ISM Plan project and worked during the period 2019-2021. She has taken many awareness classes focusing on mental health as a part of Project.

Dr Sreelekshmi is currently pursuing his PhD in Kayachikitsa at Amrita School of Ayurveda, Kollam. Her clinical interests were in the field of Ayurveda Psychiatry and research.
