Gautami Chakravarty is an Assistant Professor of Law at Amrita International School of Law, Coimbatore. She obtained her BA LLB (Hons) degree from KIIT School of Law, Bhubaneswar. She completed her LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Policy from National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam.
During her academic journey, she has developed a keen interest in Intellectual Property Rights and emerging technology-related legal issues. She have authored multiple publications in reputed journals, including peer-reviewed journals, Scopus-indexed platforms, on areas such as Intellectual Property Rights, Metaverse regulations, AI, healthcare digitalization, consumer protection, and fintech law. Apart from academics, she is a great lover of public speaking, debating and creative writing. She has conducted extensive research and documentation on various matters including Public Policy, political intelligence and other similar work. She has a penchant for social work and associated with various NGO’s and volunteering for a good cause. She is also ADR enthusiast and worked for various online Lok Adalats and e-conciliation camps and contributing by making a change in the society through Access to justice campaigns. She is keen to build a long-term career in academia, where she can contribute through teaching, research, and student engagement.
