Gevargis M. Thomas currently serves as Faculty Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.

Gevargis holds a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Kerala and a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Houston. He has done one year of research in Petroleum engineering at University of Houston.
