Bio

Dr. Kishore M S is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore.

He obtained his Ph.D. in 2025 with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, and his M.Tech. degree in 2019 in the same discipline from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (formerly Kerala Technological University), Thiruvananthapuram. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2017.

He has around five years of teaching experience, and his research interests include numerical methods in geomechanics, earth pressure on retaining walls, earthquake effects on geotechnical structures, improvement of soft soils, and sustainable materials.
