Bio

Dr. Lekshmi M. S. is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. She received her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, with her doctoral research focused on surface-activated NiO-based acetone gas sensors for diabetes detection. She holds an M.Tech. in VLSI Design from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and a B.Tech. in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Calicut. She was selected for the Research Explorer Ruhr 2024 program at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, and the Women in Space and Allied Science Leadership Program (WiSLP) organized by DST in 2025.
