Bio

Dr. M. S. Sudheesh joined as Associate Professor & HOD in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Amrita School of Pharmacy, in June 2019. He has more than 12 years of research experience. He did B. Pharm., M. Pharm. and Ph. D. from Dr. H. S. Gour Central University, Sagar. M. P. He has also qualified national level GATE examination. He has a one year Post Doctoral experience from Department of Pharmacokinetics, Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Japan, where he worked on dissolving microneedle-based skin vaccination.

His area of interest include the study of bio-nano interactions, development of vaccine adjuvants, supersaturation and precipitation of BCS Class II drugs, effect of shodhana (detoxification) on biocompatibility of Bhasmas (Ayurvedic metal based powder formulations) etc.He has seven international publications in reputed journals like Biotechnology advances and International journal of Pharmaceutics. He has successfully completed a minor research projected funded by DST on bio-nano interface.
