Dr. Rajnish is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Associate Consultant in the Department of Urology at Amrita School of Medicine with special expertise in robotic urologic surgery, uro-oncology, renal transplantation, endourology, and men’s health. He completed his DrNB in Genito-Urinary Surgery from Medanta The Medicity, Gurgaon , where he underwent extensive training in advanced robotic, minimally invasive, and endoscopic urologic procedures.
His clinical practice focuses on the management of urological malignancies involving the prostate, kidney, bladder, and testis, with particular interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgical approaches. He is also experienced in advanced endourological management of urinary stone disease, benign prostatic enlargement, and other complex upper and lower urinary tract disorders.
Dr. Rajnish has a strong interest in renal transplantation, including donor and recipient evaluation, peri-transplant management, and transplant-related reconstructive and vascular challenges. His practice also includes comprehensive men’s health care, including management of lower urinary tract symptoms, benign prostatic disorders, sexual dysfunction, and andrological conditions.
Academically, he is actively involved in resident teaching, clinical research, and evidence-based urological practice at Amrita Medical college. His research interests include robotic surgery, uro-oncology, renal transplantation.He has published work on management of unexpected vascular challenges during renal transplantation and has also conducted a Randomised comparative study on Thulium Fiber Laser versus Holmium:YAG laser for renal stone surgery.
