Sambhu R currently serves as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri. He has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Mar Athanasius college of Engineering, Kothamangalam in 2009. and M.Tech. in Non-Destructive Testing (Quality) from NIT Trichy in 2012. After serving as Quality Engineer in TATA Advanced Materials Ltd, Bangalore for two years, he joined Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in 2014 and is pursuing Ph.D. in Computational fluid dynamics.

Other fields of interests include Fluid Dynamics, mechanics, Environmental engineering, Agro-machineries.
