Bio

Dr. Sobin C. C. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, India, with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research, and academic leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee and an M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Madras.

His research interests span Internet of Things (IoT), Block chain, Delay Tolerant Networks, Smart Agriculture, Network Security, and Distributed Systems. He has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences, including Springer, Elsevier, IEEE, and Wiley publications.

Dr. Sobin has successfully supervised numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral research projects and has actively contributed to curriculum design, accreditation activities, faculty development, and academic administration. He has authored and edited several books published by CRC Press and holds multiple patents in emerging areas such as block chain, machine learning, educational technologies, and smart systems.

Recognized among the Top 2% Scientists in the World (Stanford University–Elsevier Database, 2024), Dr. Sobin continues to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation while promoting excellence in teaching and student mentorship. He is a member of IEEE, a life member of ISTE, a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), and serves as a reviewer for several reputed international journals.
