Thangam V. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Anna University in 2010 and her Master’s degree in Engineering from Anna University in 2015. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus.
Her research interests include Medical Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. Her research focuses on developing AI-based methods for medical image analysis to support early disease detection, enhance diagnostic accuracy, and improve healthcare applications.
