Job description

  •  Planning, coordinating and executing technical training across all engineering branches for B.Tech students directly or with the help of specialists from the School or from industry. 

  • Identifying and Interfacing with resource persons (Internal and External) as and when required. In addition, periodic assessment of efficacy of training provided by the external agencies.

  • Preparing students for GATE/GRE, competitive technical examinations, training of foreign languages through internal and external resources. 

  • Preparation of Question Bank, collection of resources/material for the benefit of students attending placement. 

  • Counselling students to guide them in the proper direction regarding their career, acting on their issues, clarifying their queries etc. 

  • Anchoring Campus Connect, Coding contests, hackathons and other programmes run by Industry. 

  • Schedule Learning & Development activities, periodical assessment of training contents, delivery methods and competency of trainers 
Responsibilities

  • Identification of appropriate resource persons and optimum allocation of learning resources.

  • Planning and organizing summer training, winter training and company-specific training. 

  • Institutionalize 360-degree feedback system to ensure effective Learning & Development activities. Ensure feedback is relayed to relevant departments. 

  • Liaison with corporate to get resources for various developmental activities of students like guest lectures, industry projects and mock interviews.

  • Identifying suitable training and other value-added programmes from the market that will help students in becoming industry-ready. 

  • Identify and enter into mutually beneficial collaborations with educational partners to enhance the training and skill development of students. 

  • Recommend new educational programmes to be offered by various constituent departments in alignment with the industry needs.
