Key Responsibilities:

Implement HSE policies and procedures, conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and institutional safety standards. Monitor contractor safety and safe work practices. Ensure fire protection systems remain operational, including fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and public address systems. Plan and conduct fire drills and evacuation exercises. Coordinate Fire NOC applications, renewals, inspections, and compliance with Fire & Rescue Services. Ensure emergency exits and evacuation routes remain clear. Monitor environmental compliance, coordinate waste management and STP activities, and support environmental protection initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable Pollution Control Board requirements. Conduct HSE induction and awareness programs on fire safety, electrical safety, work at height, first aid, and emergency response. Develop and maintain SOPs and safety guidelines. Maintain statutory registers, inspection records, monthly HSE reports, emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and audit documentation. Act as Incident Controller during emergencies and coordinate with Fire & Rescue Services, Police, Hospitals, and other agencies.
