Job Title ICTS Support Staff – Portals and Labs
Location Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh
Required Number 1
Qualification Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with good understanding/experience in SDLC and CI/CD concepts
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage Amrita University Management System (AUMS) portal and other campus portals like CMS, Intranet, and similar with access management and approvals.

  • Collaborate with various departments and teams in the campus and across campuses for portal management and availability.

  • Ensure proper diligence of data management between Intranet/other portals as needed.

  • Ensure timely and proper documentation of the processes followed and implemented on portals and labs.

  • Manage the computing infrastructure provisioned in a computer lab

  • Ensure that the necessary software is installed on all devices as per the requirements from the faculty or academic departments.

  • Provide IT support to students including Level 1 support for Wi-Fi connectivity issues, printing of documents and access to network services on the desktops

  • Ensure the physical and logical security of all equipment installed in the labs - Ensure compliance to all mandatory provisions of statutory bodies (AICTE, UGC, NAAC, etc.)

  • Maintain updated stock of all the assets in the lab
Skills Required

  • Linux, Windows 10, Cloud services like Azure/AWS/GCP

  • Apache/Nginx or similar, C/C++/Java/HTML/Python/PHP/Java Script/AngularJS or similar, MySQL or similar, Redis/Memcache or similar, API, Log4j framework or similar, MSOffice/Office365, CI/CD integration

  • Understand and implement front-end UI/UX, Object oriented programming, Micro services, APIs, session and cache management, database integration, log management, SRS documentation, unit tests and smoke test integration, continous integration
