Transportation Operations

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily bus operations and routes.


• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students and staff.


• Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.


• Monitor vehicle utilization and transportation performance.

Staff Supervision

• Supervise bus drivers, conductors, and transport support staff.


• Prepare duty rosters and assign routes and schedules.


• Conduct regular meetings and provide operational guidance.


• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and performance.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, traffic laws, and institutional policies.


• Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections.


• Verify that drivers possess valid licenses and required certifications.


• Implement and monitor emergency response procedures.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair schedules.


• Maintain records of servicing, repairs, insurance, permits, and fitness certificates.


• Liaise with workshops and service providers for vehicle maintenance.


• Ensure buses are clean, roadworthy, and properly equipped.

Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain transportation records, logs, and reports.


• Track fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.


• Prepare monthly operational and budget reports.


• Investigate and document accidents or incidents.

Student & Staff Support

• Address transportation complaints and service requests.


• Coordinate special transportation requirements for college events and excursions.


• Ensure a safe and comfortable travel environment for students and staff.
