B. Sc. and M. Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology students of Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi, won prizes at various competitions held in connection with SILEX 2019, 7th National Conference, conducted by the Students Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SAMT). The event was held at MIMS Calicut, from December 13-14, 2019.

Ms. Greeshma Nandakumar, Final year B. Sc. MLT student, won first prize in Oral Paper Presentation (UG). Her paper was titled “Utility of P63 and AMACR Applied as Double Simultaneous Immunostains in Diagnostic Assessment of Prostate Specimens”.

Ms. Aswathy Anilkumar, Final year M. Sc. MLT student, won second prize in Oral Paper Presentation (PG). Her paper was titled “Utility of Clot Waveform Analysis in Hemophilia”.

Ms. Pooja Pradeep and Ms. Sneha Thomas, Final year B. Sc. MLT students, won third prize in the Quiz competition.
