The three-day Dastaan 2025 Tech Fest at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus, concluded on a high note, celebrating technology, creativity, and compassion-driven innovation. Designed to identify and nurture young talent in engineering and management, Dastaan served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their technical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
The fest opened with traditional prayers led by Swami Nishkamamrita Chaitanya, setting a spiritual tone in line with the vision of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, who envisions education as a means to combine knowledge with compassion and social responsibility.
The 2025 edition, themed “NeoTerra – A New World,” featured a diverse lineup of workshops, hackathons, and competitions that blended innovation with real-world relevance. Events like “Hack Your Life” Hackathon and the “Chain Reaction Challenge” drew widespread attention, as students applied technology and AI to develop practical solutions for everyday problems.
The second day featured “Pixels and Perspectives,” a workshop on the technical and artistic aspects of photography, led by international experts, offering students a global exposure to creative technologies. Adding to the excitement, the crowd-favorite Robo Wars brought together teams from across the state and beyond, showcasing cutting-edge robotics design and control skills.
Students from various institutions across India participated in Dastaan 2025, making Amrita’s Bengaluru campus a melting pot of ideas and innovation. The festival culminated with a grand musical evening led by renowned playback singer Karthik, creating a memorable finale to three days of intense competition, collaboration, and celebration.
More than just a college fest, Dastaan 2025 reaffirmed Amrita Bengaluru Campus as a leading center for innovation, creativity, and socially conscious technology, inspiring the next generation of technologists to envision a better world through knowledge, empathy, and excellence.
