The sculpting skills get fine tuned as the budding artist practices faces and forms of human beings and animals . The aesthetic appeal and perfect proportions brings beauty to the artistic work. The Basic Sculpting Course shall be conducted for a period of four weeks on every Saturday and Sunday.
No. of hours : 32
Course Duration : Eight days @ 4hours every day on four week ends.
No. of students per batch : 10 students.
Course fee : Rs 20,000
Eligibility : Tenth Pass & Plus Two( Knowledge of Drawing preferable but not compulsory )
Medium of Instruction : English & Malayalam
Module-1- Drawing – 8 hours
Line and free hand drawings, visualizing drawing & Human anatomy measurement drawing
Module -2 – Material Introduction – 8 hours
Learning model making with materials like clay/ plaster of Paris /cement
Module -3 – Sculpture Design – 8 hours
Students shall be exposed to introductory design aspects of 2D & 3D sculpting.
Module -4 – Carving Skills (Introduction) – 8 Hours
Students shall be exposed to Carving skills in 2D Carving & 3D Carving in Oranamental design. Student gets an introductory , but impactful exposure in carving.
