Instructions & Guidelines for Allotted Candidates

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad for MD/MS courses by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through centralized common counselling should report at Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad on or before the last date of reporting as per MCC guidelines.

Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute / College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” will not be eligible for admission program.

Before physically reporting to the institute

Candidates should pay the first-year course fees (Tuition Fee + Other Fee + Hostel Fee ) by RTGS/ NEFT to the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s bank account through online mode. Candidate should pay Admission Processing Charges of Rs. 2,500 as Demand Draft drawn in favor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, payable at Faridabad.

Candidates are required to submit the original hardcopy of the Demand Draft while reporting for document verification. Candidate must pay the full course fees i.e. Tuition fees + Other Fee + Hostel Fees  even though they have paid Rs. 2,00,000/-to MCC (DGHS). They should not pay the annual course fees with deduction of Rs. 2,00,000.

For NRI category, ‘Other Fees’ must be remitted in INR to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s bank account mentioned for general category.

Note:  Hostel stay is not mandatory for MD/MS students.

Documents / Original Certificates to be Submitted on the Day of Reporting

• Allotment Letter issued by MCC.
• NEET PG Admit Card issued by NBE
• NEET PG Score card issued by NBE.
• Relieving Letter ( if applicable)
• Mark Sheets of MBBS Professional Examination year wise
• MBBS Degree Certificate/ Provisional Certificate from the concerned University.
• If MBBS from out of India then FMGE scorecard is required.
• Permanent / provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/NMC.
• Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases candidate is undergoing internship and likely to complete the same on or before 31st July, 2026 (for this academic year)
• Attempt Certificate
• Internship Completion Certificate / Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31^st July 26.
• FMGE score card if MBBS from outside India
• Character and conduct Certificate
• Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied
• Migration Certificate from the institution last studied
• Registration Certificate with Haryana State Medical Council (HSMC has to be submitted within a period of one month from the date of admission, failing which his/ her admission shall stand cancelled.
• Class12 mark sheet and passing certificates/ Equivalence Certificate for Class XII from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/ Certified Transcript.
• Class10 mark sheet and passing certificate/Equivalence Certificate for Class X from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/ Certified Transcript.
• Two copies of Aadhaar Card
• Two copies of PAN Card
• Previous Experience Certificate (if any) and Relieving Order
• Recent passport size color photographs – 6 Nos.
• Proof of fee remittance
• Two set of self-attested copies of all the documents.
• The Candidate should also submit the following Certificate, if applicable:
  • SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the Information Bulletin) and should be in English or Hindi language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the Certificate. The translated Certificate must be Certified by a Gazette Officer.
  • EWS Certificate as per the Central Govt. Norms (in the format as specified in the Information Bulletin) and should be in English or Hindi language. The translated Certificate must be Certified by a Gazetted Officer.
  • OBC Certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC Certificate must in the format as mentioned in the prospectus for All India counselling. The translated Certificate must be Certified by a Gazetted Officer. The annual income/status of the parents of the applicant should be based on financial year ending Mrach 31, 2026.
  • NRI/OCI candidates to bring relevant documents in original (same as uploaded on MCC mail) at the time of reporting/ admission

In addition to the above, NRI candidates are required to produce the below documents:Category I: Category I: NRI Candidate/ Parents/ Real Brother/ Real Sister

• Valid Passport of candidate.
• NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Embassy / Indian Consulate).
• Affidavit (on Rs 100 stamp paper Notarized) by the NRI parent/ Real Brother/ Real Sister stating that they will sponsor the entire course fee and living expenses of the candidate (son/daughter) during the period of study supported by NRE/NRO Bank Account Passbook.
•  Relationship to be verified by competent revenue authority officer (Tehsildar/ Patwari/ Government Officer in Revenue Department).
• In cases of first degree relative as per point 1 and 2 laid in the principles laid in Anshul Tomar vs. State of M.P W.P No. 13393 of 2007. 19

Category II: OCI CANDIDATES

• Valid Passport of candidate.
• Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card.

Category III: FOREIGN NATIONAL

• Valid Foreign Passport of candidate.
• Citizenship certificate.

Category IV: Indian to NRI

(Candidates who filled their category as Indian in NEET PG form and now want to change to NRI category for counselling)

• Valid Passport of candidate.
•  NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Embassy / Indian Consulate). 
•  In case of sponsorship by a legal guardian (in the past) Evidence of relationship between the NRI and the candidate.
• Affidavit (Notarized) by the NRI relative stating that they will sponsor the entire course fee and living expenses of the candidate during the period of study duly supported by NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book.
• Candidates shall be required to submit an Affidavit (on Rs 100 stamp paper duly notarized)from the person claiming to be their guardian, affirming that:
  • The guardian has been a bonafide guardian of a candidate and has been taking care of the candidate for the past few years.
  • The guardian has been providing the necessary financial, educational and other support to the candidate.
  • The NRI that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee and living expenses of the candidate during the period of study duly supported by NRE (Non Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book.
  • The particulars furnished in the affidavit are true and correct and the guardian shall be responsible for the authenticity of the claim.
  • The candidate/guardian shall also be required to submit documentary evidence in support of the claim of guardianship, such as, but not limited to: 
    • School/college fee receipts showing payment by the claimed guardian
    • Educational records or other documents reflecting the guardian’s involvement in the candidate’s education
    • Bank/payment records evidencing financial support
    • Any other relevant documentary evidence establishing that the person has been genuinely taking care of and supporting the candidate for the requisite period.

The Affidavit and supporting documents shall be subject to verification by the Competent Authority/MCC. Mere submission of the Affidavit shall not, by itself, confer eligibility or establish the claim of guardianship if the supporting documents are found inadequate, inconsistent or otherwise not genuine.  As the candidates are majors, they will not be required to submit court order as per the Guardian and,

As the candidates are majors, they will not be required to submit court order as per the Guardian and Wards, Act 1890 to convert from Indian to NRI category.

Candidates are instructed to keep a copy of the following certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer (Haryana):
