Automated Screening and Intervention for Persons with Speech Disabilities

The research focuses on the development of a Speech Enhancement Tool designed to assist individuals with speech difficulties. The tool integrates an automated screening and early error prediction system, aiming to enable timely intervention. The study encompasses the collection of a diverse dataset of speech samples from two distinct participant groups: individuals who have undergone glossectomy within the Department of Head and Neck Surgery and those with degenerative conditions like multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis from the Department of Neuro Medicine.
