Energy Management on Smart Grid using Embedded Systems

Department: Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Funding Agency: Department of Science and Technology, Government of India

Collaborators: KTH University, Sweden

A laboratory scale micro grid hardware simulator was designed and fabricated for demonstration of energy management with the help of distributed embedded nodes doing real time measurements and communication. Grid integration of renewable based generation schemes, storage units and real time energy management using real time measurement, processing and communication were demonstrated using the laboratory scale hardware simulator developed.
