Abstract : Effective usage of frequency resource in a mobile omputing nvironmentl is a challenging problem. The key idea is to control mutual interference among neighboring cells in a systematic way and at the same time minimizing the usage of frequency utilization. In this paper we present a graph theoretic approach to address this problem. The mutually interfering cells are represented as the vertices of a graph and a mathematical assignment of frequencies is done in order to avoid interference up to four levels.
