Abstract : An information technology that has immensely received increasing popularity is termed as Cloud Computing. The service of uploading the data of the data owners and retrieving the data whenever required is allowed by cloud storage. The several services provided by the cloud helps the users to avoid building their own storage of data. Currently preserving confidential data has become the most significant challenge. Confidential data of the data owner is kept private against unknown or untrusted CSP’s (Cloud Service Providers) with the adaption of basic standard approach of cryptography by approving the genuine users and providing secret keys to let the user search the data from cloud then the data is retrieved. Thereby the technique proposed is Cipher-text-Policy Attribute Based Encryption [CPABE] in this paper, for controlling the access and protection of data in the cloud that is encrypted. By using CPABE method, data that is encrypted is kept confidential in the cloud server or in the untrusted cloud as well. In the proposed system, the user is described by their attributes and user policy is used to decrypt the data. The user is made sure that he doesn’t share his key with the other users. Specifically, the effort is on filtering the documents more precisely and to accomplish minimum search time using “Greedy Search” algorithm. The approached method also ponders on providing flexible performance in the reduction of search time process. © 2018, Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, Inc. All rights reserved.
