Abstract : This study offers a practical solution to the many traffic accidents reported in hilly areas, especially on hairpin bends, due to a bad view and sharp turning. In this innovative integrated ultrasonic sensor system, an Arduino and an ESP8266 work together in collaboration to use ultrasonic sensors in detecting approaching vehicle and LED lights to inform the driver when there is a vehicle approaching a curve. The viability of the project goes beyond preventing accidents; in an accident, it also allows for immediate medical help by sending the location of the vehicle to nearby medical services. This approach enhances the general safety on the roads and is not limited to hairpin curves alone; it may be applied elsewhere where accidents occur frequently. This system uses technology in emergency response and real-time notification to give an effective approach for traffic accident reduction and improving road safety in hard-to-reach places.
