Abstract : Flexible nanodielectric materials are promising candidates in modern electrical and electronic industry. While considering the electrical and dielectric properties of polymers, the type as well as dispersion of nanomaterials plays a vital role in the design and fabrication of such composites. This chapter mainly focuses on the effect of various nanomaterials in determining the electrical and dielectric properties of polymers. The effect of size, shape, and orientation of nanofillers on the properties has been discussed in a comprehensive way. This chapter also tries to portray the applications as well as the future prospects of these materials in the field of capacitors, transistors, actuators etc.
