Abstract : The evolution of the biofuel supply chain has revolutionized organizational practices by restructuring traditional management approaches. A flexible distribution system has become essential to improve supply chain efficiency. This paper proposes the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into the cultivation, extraction, and management of Jatropha seeds. The study identifies major challenges faced by farmers due to poor supply chain integration, including inadequate information regarding seed availability, esterification plant locations, and distribution logistics. The proposed IoT-based framework enables farmers to access real-time information, optimize land utilization, estimate crop yield, and improve distribution management. By leveraging smart technologies, the system minimizes wastage, reduces energy scarcity, and enhances supply chain efficiency. The proposed framework provides an effective solution for improving the management of Jatropha seed supply chains and supporting sustainable biofuel production.
