Abstract : Efficient utilization of the available spectrum is of utmost importance as the demands for wireless service have significantly increased over the recent years. MIMO communication is a promising solution for this because of improved capacity and quality assurance. The link performance of MIMO system can significantly increase by the suitable interference rejection method. On the other hand beam forming is a signal processing technique to guarantee high directionality of receiving signals. MIMO and beamforming are two related but different aspects of wireless communication. Interference mitigation in MIMO-Beamforming systems is the prime focus and this paper reviews the adaptive beamforming algorithms used for interference rejection in MIMO-Beamforming Systems. The adaptive algorithms are simulated with the help of Matlab. © 2016 IEEE.
