Abstract : The youth is not just en route to acquire the trending fashion and life style; a drastic change has occurred in the knowledge acquisition patterns too. The viewing and reading phenomenon has concentrated into a small media space. The traditional concept of newspaper has now transformed into the new generation tablets and mobile screens. This paper attempts to conduct a survey on the changing trends in the reading habits among youth. The concepts of space and text have taken a new turn as far as the modern digital world is concerned. The study previews the future of traditional media especially among the young readers.
