Abstract : This paper discubes about the various custom power devices used in custom power park. The custom power plant ensures the delivery of high grade of power to customers. The performance of shunt active filter, DVR, SSTS, pabive filter and overall CPP controller are analyzed. Simulation is carried out using Matlab Simulink platform. The control algorithm used for shunt active filter and DVR are ICosO and IRPT respectively. A shunt pabive filter is designed to eliminate the lower order harmonics so that the rating of shunt active filter can be reduced considerably. The controller for SSTS is based on voltage detection scheme. The voltage of preferred and alternate feeders are sensed and given to the overall controller of custom power park.
