Abstract : This proposed research examines and simulates the performance of a tilted one-by-eight microstrip patch antenna array for X-band satellite communication at a frequency of 7.5 GHz. The eight modified diamond patches are set up in a symmetrical pattern with a controlled tilt to improve the directivity and stop mutual coupling. A corporate feed network makes it possible to divide power evenly and achieve a satisfactory impedance match. CST Microwave Studio's full-wave electromagnetic simulations give us performance characteristics including radiation efficiency, sidelobe level, gain, and return loss. The array can focus a beam for remote sensing and weather monitoring because symmetric tilting lowers sidelobes while keeping the main lobe. The design provides a small, high-gain, and efficient solution for present X-band systems.
