Abstract : In this paper, a novel OFDM system has been proposed based on DTCWT. The mathematics behind the proposed OFDM system is explained in linear algebra point of view. Also comparative study has been made between the traditional OFDM and the OFDM based on DTCWT. BER and CCDF of PAPR are used in comparing the performance evaluation of the two systems. Simulated results suggests that the newly proposed system has better BER and PAPR performance when compared to traditional OFDM system. The CCDF suggests that there is 5 dB improvement over the conventional OFDM system.
