Abstract : In recent years, power quality has developed from lack of clarity to a noteworthy issue . Most extreme issue s of power quality are voltage sags, voltage swells and interruptions and their consequences. Especially, the increasing penetration of power electronics-based loads (non-linear loads) creating a growing concern for harmonic distortion in the AC power system. The best way of mitigating these power quality issue s is using a FACTS gadget. The PV integrated UPQC topology helps in compensating the various power quality issue s, thus providing uninterruptable voltage for sensitive loads. In this paper these voltage irregular characteristics are moderated using the PV integrated UPQC topology and investigated for different load conditions.
