The Amrita School of Ayurveda frequently organize free medical camps in various places to help students to attain the competence and to humbly serve the humanity.
The department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga, Amrita School of Ayurveda conducted a health awareness program for the adolescent group at NSS Higher Secondary School, Karuvatta on 23rd February 2015. Nearly 300 girls studying in 7th, 8th and 9th classes were educated about the normal anatomical and physiological changes during puberty, common problems in this age group, maintenance of hygiene, and sexual education.
Post Graduate Department of Panchakarma at Amrita School of Ayurveda has organized a Vamana Camp during the Vasantha Ritu of 2015 in the month of February and March. Vamana or the therapeutic emesis is one of the main treatments for Kapha Dosha. Vasantha ritu is the Prakopa Kala of the Kapha Dosha. Vamana can be performed in Healthy individuals during Vasantha Ritu for the Curation and Prevention of Kapha predominant diseases.
The department of Shalakya Tantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda conducted a free medical camp at Nooranad in association with Lions club on 26th October, 2014. 15 patients were consulted during the day.
The department of shalakya Tantra, Amrita School of Ayurveda conducted a health awareness program at Amrita Vidyalayam, Pandalam on 20th October, 2014. Nearly 300 students and 40 teachers attended and also provided free Eye and ENT check up for students.
The department of Dravyaguna, Amrita School of Ayurveda, conducted an awareness class on Conservation of Medicinal Plants & distribution of karinochi seedlings (Karinochi project) on October 17, 2014. Around 500 seedlings were distributed in the Kulasekharapuram panchayath.
Amrita School of Ayurveda, in association with Ayur Raksha Mission, conducted a medical camp at Alappuzha on October 11-12, 2014, consulting 52 patients on day 1 and 64 patients on day 2.
Amrita School of Ayurveda conducted a general medical camp at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri on September 26 - 27, 2014. A sum of 135 patients on the first day and 174 patients on the second day was consulted during the camp.

The department of Kaumarabhrityam, Amrita School of Ayurveda organized a Balamritam Medical Camp on May 19 - 25, 2014 with a participation of 70 children.
