Moonj grass craft (UP): revival of traditional weaving — women trained in baskets, mats, tableware and decorative items with modern design for contemporary markets; SHG cooperatives for collective production. Fabric painting (AMMACHI Labs/SANKALP); heritage shawl-making (Indpur, HP) formalised as a premium enterprise.
Immersive AR/VR village tourism enabling global audiences to navigate 3D landscapes, explore heritage sites and attend live cultural events. Virtual Village Mandis let villagers list and sell crafts; integrated digital marketplace with QR/NFC provenance, GI linkage and GeM/ODOP channels.
Multi-modal documentation of tribal knowledge — traditional medicine, sacred-grove practices, ecological land-use wisdom, oral histories — via ethnographic fieldwork, PRA, audio-video, 3D digitisation and crowdsourced apps. Youth trained as digital custodians; TEK integrated into agriculture & health; semantic knowledge repository.
AI-enabled Socio-Cultural Vulnerability Index (SVI) to model intervention impacts before implementation; geospatial mapping via GIS, remote sensing and photogrammetry; blockchain provenance linked to GI; legal frameworks for IP, collective copyright and benefit-sharing aligned with UNESCO ICH & WIPO.
