Smrithi 2016 – The Alumni Meet of Amrita School of Business, Kochi

Alumni are a vital part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham MBA Programme, Kochi. They have been source of inspirations for the students pursuing their course in the institution. Smrithi 2016- the Alumni meet, was a special occasion for all when 30 plus alumni joined the joyous occasion.

Amrita Alumnus at Google Summer of Code (GSoC) Mentors Summit 2016, Sunnyvale, California

Tony Thomas, 2016 graduate and an alumnus of FOSS @ Amrita, had the opportunity to attend the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) Mentors Summit at Google Tech. A total of 2,524 mentors were involved, and only around 300 of them were invited by Google for the Mentors Summit at Sunnyvale, California. 

68+ Alumni, 128 students Attended Alumni Placement Boot Camps at Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore

Ahead of the placements this year, the Alma Connect Club and the Placement Committee (Placecom) of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore organized two Alumni Placement Boot Camps at the campus in the months of August and September.

Amrita Alumnus Santosh Nanduru, (BTech Degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science,2013, Coimbatore campus), is one of those making an impact. He is Regional Head of Just for Kicks, which he helped elevate from a pilot project to a  successful organization making a big change in children’s lives.

Amrita Alumna Wins 2015 KTH Masters Challenge India and Secures Rs. 23 Lakh Scholarship

Neha Kumari, a graduate of the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri campus,won first place at the 2015 KTH Masters Challenge India competition in the field of Electric Power Engineering. Neha competed against applicants from the IITs, NITs, and other highly ranked universities throughout India and was the only female finalist in the entire competition. As the first place winner, Neha secured a fully funded scholarship for a two year masters degree at the internationally reputed KTH-Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) sponsored by ABB worth Rs. 23 lakhs, a living allowance sponsored by ABB worth Rs. 12 lakhs, and an opportunity to do a summer internship at ABB in Stockholm, Sweden.

Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore Hosted its Annual Alumni Meet

Among the most exciting recent events at Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore (ASB Coimbatore) was its alumni meet, held on 23rd and 24th January, 2016. The two-day meet saw an enthusiastic participation of alumni, professors and current students.  Two hundred+ alumni from all walks of life, including Executive VPs, Directors, CEOs and entrepreneurs from across the globe, walked into the campus to relive their memories of their Alma Mater.
