The Capsim Challenge pits Capstone, Foundation and Global DNA alumni against each other in a biannual competition to crown the world’s best at running a multi-million dollar simulated company.
Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru organized a technical event, Techwiz, for school students, as a part of Aarohan. Aarohan is exclusively conducted for school students to exhibit and enhance their talents in science and technology every year by the Amrita School of Engineering on the 10th and 11th of November, 2016. The level of participation was astounding, more than 1500 students from 46 renowned schools of Bangalore attended.

The United Nations has officially made Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham India’s first-ever UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment. The official bestowing of the UNESCO Chair took place before an audience of 8,000 people during a spiritual programme of the University’s Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi in Paris on October 30, 2016.
ENERGON is an energy conservation week organised by IEEE PES and IAS combined student chapter of Amrita school of Engineering, Bengaluru, on October 24-28, 2016.
