Students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and AYUDH (Youth wing of Mata Amritanandamayi math(NGO)) Chapter at Ahmedabad, Gujarat conducted an awareness campaign and workshop on water conservation for the high school students in Nalanda school, Ahmedabad. The Students and Ayudhians prepared a presentation on the importance of saving water for the coming generations. Also showed interesting videos and presented creative charts which will remind the students to reduce water usage. They also conducted a workshop on how to make Self Irrigating Planter and decorate their drawing rooms. This works on the capillary action of water and acts as an irrigating planter for the sapling. This is the best model for both water conservation and plastic recycling. Through this, the students also learned how waste plastic bottles can be recycled for a better cause. At the end of the session, Students and Ayudhians lead the PLEDGE to conserve water and to use water wisely.
