Abstract : This paper focus on the unbreakable relation of forest that has been govern by women of Kondh Tribe in Kandhamal District. Here we will be highlighting women’s dependency on the forest and the various ways that they find to keeps life going throughout the year during favorable and unfavorable times. As they depend primarily on forest they have ample knowledge on resources, its usability, location and period of availability.
