AMMACHI Labs, in collaboration with the Center for Women’s Empowerment & Gender Equality (CWEGE), warmly welcomed students from Rama Varma Shashtyabda Poorthi Memorial Higher Secondary School (RVSM HSS), Oachira, to the Women Empowerment Exhibition stall at the Amritavarsham72 Project Expo.
The 11th and 12th-grade students explored a wide array of handcrafted products, each thoughtfully created by women trained through AMMACHI Labs’ skill development and empowerment programs. Their curiosity and enthusiasm were evident as they learned about the stories, efforts, and social impact behind every product.
Teachers and students alike were inspired by the dedication and craftsmanship displayed by the women artisans. Many expressed interest in supporting these initiatives by purchasing the products, demonstrating a genuine engagement with real-world examples of empowerment, sustainability, and social innovation.
It was heartening to witness young minds connecting with these initiatives and appreciating the value of women-led skill development programs.
