A free medical camp was organized under the joint initiative of Amrita Hospital, Kochi and Karunagappally Oommen Chandy Palliative Care. The camp, held at Kuzhithura Government Fisheries Higher Secondary School was inaugurated by Karunagappally MLA C.R. Mahesh.
At the inaugural ceremony, Brahmachari Sookshmamrita Chaitanya, Varun Alappat, and Punalur Somarajan delivered speeches.
The medical camp was led by a team of around 100 members, including over 60 specialist doctors from various departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology, Pediatric Cardiology, ENT, Skin, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry.
As part of the camp, free consultations and diagnoses were provided in both Allopathy and Ayurveda, and patients were also given free medicines.
More than 50 volunteers from AYUDH, the youth wing of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, actively participated in the camp. Around 500 people benefited from the initiative.
