Bio

Dr. Saroj Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the School of Medicine, Faridabad.

Dr. Saroj completed her MBBS and MS (Anatomy) from PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana in 1998. She was subsequently selected as a Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi. Following her residency, she served as a Senior Demonstrator at St. George’s Medical School and Hospital, London, from 2001 to 2004.

After returning to India, Dr. Saroj worked as a Senior Research Associate on a CSIR-funded research project in New Delhi and later pursued her PhD in Anatomy at AIIMS, New Delhi. She successfully completed her PhD on the Cochlear Nucleus in 2013. During her doctoral work, she presented her research at several national and international conferences and received multiple national awards for her contributions.

Dr. Saroj later joined VMMC, New Delhi, as an Assistant Professor. In 2015, she became part of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College from its inception as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018, serving in this role until November 2022.

Over the course of her career, she has contributed in various academic and administrative capacities, including Member Secretary of the Institutional Research Review Committee, Resource Faculty of the Medical Education Unit, and Member of the Sub-committee for Research, Innovations & Extension, as well as Infrastructure & Learning for the NAAC Quality Assurance Committee.

With 25 years of dedicated teaching and research experience, Dr. Saroj continues to be recognized for her commitment to medical education, research excellence, and institutional development.
