M. Jayakumar is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. He received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical and electronics engineering and power electronics and drives from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Amrita University, Coimbatore, India. His doctoral research focused on ” Hybrid Intelligent Optimization Approach for Modular Multilevel Converter-Based Power Quality Conditioner for Modern Railway Electrification Systems,” addressing critical challenges in railway power systems, for real-time power quality monitoring.
