Action Plan 2025 – 2026

The Sanskriti Club was inaugurated on 17th September 2025 at Amriteshwari Hall, marking the beginning of the academic year’s cultural and fine arts activities. The event was graced by Br. Dr. Chidanandamrita Chaitanya, Campus Director, and Dr. S. Bhagavathi Perumal, Principal, who encouraged students to actively engage in cultural and extracurricular pursuits.

The club provides a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents in music, dance, theatre, mime, and other performing arts. The inauguration featured cultural performances and introduced students to the club’s vision of fostering creativity, artistic expression, and holistic development.

The event concluded with enthusiastic student participation, setting the stage for a vibrant year of cultural engagement and artistic excellence.

On 21st August 2025, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, celebrated Aarambam’25 – Onam with great enthusiasm, bringing together students and faculty members to experience the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. The campus came alive with vibrant traditions, festive decorations, and active participation from the entire community.

The celebration featured a variety of cultural and recreational activities, including the Pookalam Competition, Maveli Procession, Tug of War, traditional games, music, and dance performances. Participants showcased their creativity, teamwork, and talent while embracing the spirit of togetherness and cultural pride.

A highlight of the event was the traditional Onam Sadhya, which fostered unity and strengthened community bonds among students and faculty members. The event provided an opportunity for students to celebrate cultural diversity,strengthen interpersonal relationships, and create lasting memories.

Aarambam’25 concluded on a joyful note, reinforcing the values of harmony, tradition, and cultural appreciation while leaving participants with memorable experiences that enriched campus life.

The Sanskriti Club of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, celebrated Pongal and Makar Sankranti on 13th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, bringing together students and faculty to honor the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu. The event highlighted the significance of gratitude towards nature, agriculture, and community spirit.

The celebrations featured a traditional prayer and pooja, followed by vibrant activities including a Pongal Making Competition, Rangoli Competition, cultural performances, fun games, and the traditional Uriyadi event. Students showcased their creativity, talents, and teamwork, making the occasion lively and memorable.
A key highlight of the event was the sharing of freshly prepared Pongal among participants,

symbolizing unity, joy, and togetherness. The celebration provided a platform for students to engage with cultural traditions while fostering a strong sense of community on campus.

The event concluded with prize distribution and expressions of gratitude, leaving participants with cherished memories and reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural values through campus celebrations.

PARAABHAVA ’26, the Ugadi celebration at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, was organized on 18th March 2026 to welcome the South Indian New Year with cultural pride and festive enthusiasm. The event brought together students and faculty to celebrate tradition, togetherness, and the spirit of new beginnings.

The campus came alive with traditional Ugadi rituals and vibrant decorations that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the festival. The celebrations featured cultural performances, festive games, and interactive activities that encouraged active participation and strengthened the sense of community among students.

A special highlight of the event was the distribution of Ugadi Pachadi, a symbolic dish representing the diverse experiences and emotions of life. Through its blend of flavors, participants were reminded of the values of acceptance, gratitude, and resilience.

The celebration successfully promoted cultural awareness, showcased student talents, and fostered an inclusive campus environment. PARAABHAVA ’26 concluded on a joyful note, leaving participants with lasting memories and a renewed appreciation for India’s rich traditions and heritage.
