Smruthy N. Pradeep is an Assistant Professor of Law at Amrita International School of Law. She is the PhD Research Scholar who has submitted her thesis titled “Role of Patent, Competition and Price Regulatory Laws in Ensuring the Affordability of Patented Pharmaceutical Products” at the Inter-University Centre for IPR Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, where she completed the integrated five-year LLM (IPR)–PhD programme. She holds a BBA LLB (Hons.) from the School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, and has also worked as a Legal Consultant at the Public Health Foundation of India on a WHO–GARDP project on pooled procurement of reserve antibiotics.
