Abstract : A rapid growth of digital infrastructure in sensitive domains like e-health has exposed critical vulnerabilities in centralized systems. Consequently, data integrity in such systems is vulnerable to insider attacks. While blockchain technology offers protection against unauthorized modifications, its transparency raises concerns about user privacy and identity traceability, commonly referred to as link-ability. Several blockchain-based identity management frameworks have been proposed in the literature for various applications, including e-health. However, there is a lack of protocols that provide unlinkable digital identities that are bound to physical identities while preserving user privacy. This paper proposes an unlinkable identity management protocol based on blockchain for e-health applications. Our approach ensures that user documents can only be accessed or linked with the explicit user consent, thereby preventing impersonation and unauthorized access. Furthermore, it supports dynamic revocation of users and service providers, enhancing both the flexibility and security of the system. The proposed solution addresses both privacy and integrity concerns, making it well-suited for high-security environments such as e-health systems.
